This is upgrade version after 2 year I built 833 prototype. I made for my system and it is not for sale. Due to lack of heater transformer,it can not be ordered to made the same one now.

This fix some problem in high frequency of prototype version. This version is more quite, silent and more powerful, wider range than the prototype version.

All 833A is very huge tube, originally it was used in transmission part of Russia tank. It also was used in America radio broadcast. This amplifier is working in class A2, 211 tube is used as drive tube. Grid bias is about 4V, plate current is about 160mA.

The most diffucult thing in design this tube amp is the heat from 100W filament of 833 tube is terrible, it effect to another tube and cause the noise in high frequency.

Output transformer is special order made from Hirata TANGO, primary allow current 250mA.

Prestage is 717A tube, secodary is 211 tube

Output is about 60W, noise is under 1mV, very quite and can not hear the hum even using with 100db speaker.

Sound is very powerful, wide range and detail with high speed and sexy vocal.
