This week I introduce to you another perfect amplifier that was made by Mr Tossie of Valve World Lab. This was made based on Western Electric 91B type with prestage is WE310A and secondary stage is 34

This was made in 2008 year. At that time ISO Tango is still available and Tango transformer is very easily to be gotten so, all transformer are TANGO made. Both 310A and 349A are penthode tube but in this amplifier it was used in triode mode. Current of plate 349A is 10mA, you can build this amp with NC-15 or NC-16 or NP-1 instead of NC-20 tube.

Current for each 300B tube is 72mA, so you need a powerful output transformer that can handle 140mA in primary. In this amplifier, X-2.7S was used.

Power transformer is ME-225, which is one of the best power transformer for WE91B type amp. Rectifier tube is 422A tube, you can use 5U4G, or 274B tube as instead.
