Turntable Tonearms > 12 inches tonearms

You are looking at Denon DA-1000 tonearm, one of three best analog item that Denon Corp made. The 2 others is AU-1000 and DL-1000

This was manufactured in 83 year, same time with FR-66S and the price at that time is same as FR-66S too. If FR-66S is considered a best tonearm for low mass cartridge and this is the best one for high mass cartridge. Denon engineer adopted a special mechanism working to this tonearm. It is quite different with all other tonearm made before it and made after it. The mechanism using in this tonearm called dynamic damping with one pivot support, stabilizer damping system. It used magnet to adjust tonearm matching with compliance of cartridge.

Tonearm pipe and headshell is special ceramic.

It is the best tonearm for light compliance cartridge that I have ever seen.
