Very very rare input, step up transformer manufactured by Hirata TANGO. It was made from permalloy core, special order made item. Select switch help you change step up ratio from 1:10 to 1:20 .

Primary is 150ohn or 600ohn selectable, and secondary is 50Koohm, you can use this as CD line input transformer or MC step up transformer for almost cartridge. Sound is really a killer, powerful and very sweety. At the time Tango sell MCT-999 at price 300USD, this transformer was sold at price 750USD. Tango was closed so this transformer is really hard to get even in Japan market.

Inside wire used Western Electric 40s year one for the best sound.
