This is tonearm which was designed by Robert Van EPS who is one of the greates Jazz artist. Based on this design, Thales Corp made one of the most expensive tonearm which cost over than 20000$.

Today I introduce to you one of my most favorite tonearm which is very very rare.

This tonearm 's design got pattern in 1962 year but this one was made in 50s year, you can see the mark Pattern pending on tonearm. It is considered as prototype tonearm of the famous Van Eps Lab tonearm. Thales Corp developed this designed and maufacture the tonearm that is sold at price over 20000USD.

This tonearm 's biggest character is that the tracking error is always 0. IT was design to be ensure that the stylus lies tangentially to a circle centered at the center of the record and thereby vibrates in a radial direction.. In the prototype version, you can see the 2 counter weight which is not same size, It help taking balance for anti-skating, but later it was changed to same size for setting tonearm be more easy.
